Greenville, South Carolina Newborn Photographer | Shelby’s Newborn Session

I have been blessed with some of the most gorgeous babies in 2021 and Shelby was no exception! This wild-haired beauty was absolutely perfect for her newborn session and I LOVED her fuzzy hair that could not be tamed. Her Mom requested purples which is one of my favorite requests for anyone who knows me. Purple is my favorite color and I’ve amassed quite the prop collection featuring some of my favorite shades - lilac and lavender. It certainly doesn’t hurt that this little love looked stunning in every color!

Many are aware that rainbow babies are close to my heart and they’re the reason I launched my Rainbow Baby Program in January of 2020. (More information can be found HERE)

Shelby is a rainbow baby and her sweet Mama asked that I incorporate that in some of the photos - a request I am always happy to honor.. I’m constantly purchasing rainbow props and finding new ways to pay tribute in my sessions. I love the beautiful, subtle touches that signify the journey parents take towards their miracle babies.

Other color requests included soft pinks, gray, and cream so I pulled sets I felt would compliment her gallery well and she rocked every single one of them! One of the best parts of my job is giving clients an experience custom-tailored entirely to their tastes and bringing the newborn photos of their dreams to life.

I want clients to have the best of both worlds so I strive give a huge variety of posed and wrapped images with every newborn session. You never know which set will wind up being the client favorite.

I was also super excited to try out some new prop sets that had just arrived prior to her scheduled session. I LOVE bamboo props and boho styled items. This new bed and floral hoop looked gorgeous with the hints of greenery and florals added. Not to mention that there are few things as adorable as a newborn baby all snuggled up in tiny PJs.

The downside of my job is when it comes time to give these sweet babies back! 🤣 I could honestly cuddle them all day but then if I kept every baby client I’ve wanted to over the years, I’d have about 1000 kids right now. lol.

I have to settle for baby snuggles in between posing and getting to see my newborn clients come back for milestone or first birthday sessions. It’s always fun to see how they grow!
