At Michelle Osborne Photography, we know your new baby is the center of your universe and you want to feel comfortable placing your baby in an experienced photographer’s hands. After years spent attending numerous newborn photography workshops and honing her craft, Michelle has been trained by some of the industry’s leading newborn photographers to ensure that your baby is handled and posed safely at every stage of your newborn session. Every session is styled and hand crafted to cater to your preferences. The studio is fully stocked with every item possibly needed for the session. From timeless neutrals to bold colors, there’s something for everyone. Beautiful, handmade outfits sized specifically for newborn babies, custom floral halos, hand knitted bonnets and/or hats are the perfect compliment to your little one’s session. With an abundance of props to choose from ranging from beds, bowls, buckets, baskets, and so much more, creating the images your heart desires has never been easier.

It is never too early to book though most expectant mothers book when they reach their second trimester to ensure availability. As a seasoned newborn photographer, Michelle understands that babies tend to come in their own time and leaves enough flexibility in her monthly schedule to account for this. To do so, we only book a limited number of newborns per month. Booking in advance is highly recommended to guarantee availability. We book tentatively based on the month of your due date and can adjust in the event that your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.
During your initial consultation via phone call or email, Michelle will walk you through every step of the booking process and go over any question(s) you may have. Excellent customer service is the cornerstone of our company so we’re always here to help should you need anything along the way.

*If your little one has already made their debut and you haven’t booked a session yet, don’t fret! Prepping for a new baby can be a chaotic time and sometimes things like booking a photographer slips through the cracks. WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you’ve completed the booking process, Michelle will send her newborn questionnaire where you’re encouraged to share any color preferences, nursery theme, and any other special detail so that she can style the session of your dreams. Aside from any sentimental items discussed prior to the session, everything needed will be provided.
Newborn sessions are scheduled for when baby is between 8 to 16 days old. This gives your little one a chance to settle in at home that first week and adjust to their new surroundings, as well as develop somewhat of a feeding schedule. Every client is provided a comprehensive newborn prep guide prior to their session to ensure baby is ready for his or her modeling debut.
