Greenville, South Carolina Newborn Photographer | Kiyana’s Newborn Session

I swear 2021 has been a year filled with mostly girls - not that I’m complaining! I’ve had so many gorgeous little ones in and out of the studio the past few months. I love incorporating florals into sessions so styling for a girl is always fun. Meet Kiyana, 2 weeks new at the time.

Her Mama asked for darker colors, purples, and jewel tones instead of the usual light pink request I get often and I was so excited to create different setups for her. All things purple are my favorite so I got to put a lot of it to good use with her. Purple is definitely her color! 💜

Kiyana has the most dainty little features perfectly complimented by her dark hair. She was so content for posing which made my job easy and she loved being swaddled (though she’d peek her eyes open every now and again to see what was going on).

I love this plum wrap set and every time I use it I’m sad that I don’t get requests for dark colors often enough! It’s such a beautiful shade of plum.

I loved carrying shades of lilac, lavender, plum, and burgundy throughout her gallery and flowers were the perfect accent for each set. I have so many gorgeous floral crowns that are so perfect for baby girls!

We finished her solo portraits with this gorgeous black star fabric because Mama loved how she looked in black. Kiyana basically looked perfect in every color!

Then it was time to pose with her adoring parents! Not even a month old and already the center of their universe - exactly as it should be. I love capturing the connection between new parents and their baby. It’s truly beautiful to watch!
