Greenville, South Carolina Newborn Photographer | Gray’s & Gwen’s Newborn Session

I waited months to meet these sweet girls! Their Mama booked me during her second trimester to ensure I had a space reserved for them on my calendar and I was so excited to have another set of twins coming! They were born a bit early but after a few weeks in the NICU, we were finally able to do their newborn photos when they were 8 weeks new (about 2 weeks adjusted). Meet Gray & Gwen (love their names!) - the most adorable, identical twins.

These sweet girls are rainbow babies so we had to pay tribute in a few sets. Rainbow babies will always have a special place in my heart. 🌈🌈

Despite being identical twins, they were actually pretty easy to tell apart. Gwen has a little bit more length in her hair and a little strawberry birthmark on her finger.

Their Mama requested darker colors and jewel tones like this stunning teal; I was excited to be able to use colors I don’t always get requests for. Jewel tones are so bold and stunning!

I loved the combination of this deep mauve and plum wrap sets!

We carried the burgundy shades and plum into other individual sets with the girls. I always try to get a mix of twins posed together and separately for parents. I think it’s important to celebrate their individual personalities and quirks as well as the special bond you only get between multiples.

I really wanted to get this bucket set in the greenhouse for the girls. On the first attempt, they weren’t having it but with some patience, we finally got both girls posed in the bucket. I love how buckets sets highlight just how small newborns are in those first few weeks of life. It’s one set I always try to get with my newborn sessions for that reason. 🥰

Then we transitioned to one of my favorite props I’ve ever bought - these little bunk beds are the absolute sweetest with multiples. Two babies snuggled up in two little beds never stops being adorable.

We had to pull out the newborn rainbow gowns as well for these precious girls for the last set! Is there anything cuter?? 😍

We finished up their session with some family images and sibling photos. Gwen and Gray will have a whole bunch of protectors growing up. It’s safe to say the whole family is smitten and these girls complete this sweet family. 💗
